This is a hard one. There are many pictures whose soundtracks I like… Therefore, this time I will make an exception and five you not one, but two movies whose soundtracks I love.
Day 24: Movie with your favorite soundtrack.
The first one, in chronological order, is The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
I love all the LOTR music, but for some reason, I find this soundrack especially compelling. The Uruk-Hai, Rohan, The Ents going to war… it’s epic.
The second is the whole Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows soundtrack, parts one and two (does it make it three movies? Oh, whatever…). This is such a strong soundtrack. Dragon’s Flight, Lily’s Theme, Statues, Obliviate, Battlefield… deeply moving.
Conclusion: Howard Shore and Alexandre Desplat are geniuses!!
